I’ve always wanted too much, but the sun and stars burn to be held
the more i think of it the more it bothers me that people seem to think “androgyny=flat chest” why are we always treating masculine features as default??? boobs can be fucking androgynous too!!! fuck!!!
“ohh you wanna be androgynous? better get top surgery, hide your figure, lower your voice, etc etc etc” STOP TREATING MASCULINITY AS THE DEFAULT
there’s also something to be said about how in the other direction androgyny is generally presented as “look the same as you do already but skinnier and with sickening makeup and nails” like ok so you’re also fatphobic and bootlicking the makeup industry cool cool
like now that i think about it yeah when amab ppl want to look more androgynous nobody tells them to grow tits and pad their figure and make their voice higher they’re usually encouraged to be rail thin and simply add makeup like… it’s still treating masculinity as the default but using the commodified portion of “femininity” instead and that’s a different but equally fucked up angle people take

rereading my own writing is just a constant fluctuation between "damn, girl, you wrote this? (affectionate)" and "damn, girl, you wrote this? (derogatory)"
I am also “damn, girl, you wrote this? (forgetful)”
Damn girl, you wrote this?
Damn girl, you wrote this?
Damn girl, you wrote this?
